All the stars were aligned at last night’s 46th NAACP Image Awards in Pasadena, California.  The event celebrates the outstanding achievements and performances of people of color in the arts (television, recording, literature, motion picture and writing & directing), as well as those individuals or groups who promote social justice through their creative endeavors.  The show was hosted by Anthony Anderson, the star and executive producer of ABC’s freshman sitcom “black-ish,” which was one of the big winners of the evening.

The top honors of the evening also included  Taraji P. Henson, who took home the Entertainer of the Year Award; Selma, winner of Outstanding Motion Picture; How To Get Away With Murder, Outstanding Dram Series, and Spike Lee, recipient of the President's Award.
